5 Off Page SEO Factors

5 Off Page SEO Factors

Date: 10-Jan-2014

While you should be putting a lot of effort into your on-page Search Engine Optimization, your SEO India Company will also want to focus on off-page SEO. On this page I want to take a little look at a few of the things that you are going to need to consider when it comes to off-page SEO.

1. Do you have a social media account? If not, you are doing yourself a massive disservice. Google, and some of the other search engines, have said time and time again that they are going to be placing a heavy focus on social media when it comes to ranking content in their search engines. If you do not have a social media account then you is going to rank fairly low in the search engines. You will also want to ensure that you keep it up to date!

2. In the past many people that engaged in SEO wanted to get as many links out there as possible. This is not the way to do it in this day and age. One single relevant link is going to be a lot better than hundreds of links on websites which bear no relation to the content that you have to offer. I suggest carrying out careful research on where to place your links.

3. The Page Rank of the websites that link to you is going to be a major determining factor on where you rank in the search engines. Basically, the higher the page rank of the website that links to you, the more benefit you are going to get. Basically they will be passing their ‘reputation’ onto you. This is going to be something that is fairly difficult to control at the start.

4. The anchor text that you use for your links is incredibly important. When you are building up your links you will want to ensure that the pages that you link to, and the anchor text that you use, is incredibly varied. Basically you will want to ensure that your link building is as natural as it possibly can be!

5. Finally, the speed in which you build up links is going to be very important when it comes to being ranked in the search engines. Most people think that building up links quickly is the key to getting ranked highly in the search engines. It isn’t, not by a long shot. Getting ranked in the search engines is a slow process. Fast link building absolutely stinks of automatic link building. This is something that the search engines hate and will probably end up with you getting removed from their system.

Remember, when it comes to SEO India Company then Search Engine Optimization, slow and steady really does win the race!
