|What happened in Oisha was not good. It was what they call an act of God. The Cyclone Phailin was something that simply could not be avoided. It really hurt the good people of Odisha or Orissa. The Government of India claims more than 10 million people were affected by Phailin.|
Phailin was a category 5 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale (SSHWS). Th Government did all it cold to evacuate people and by and large the efforts were seen as a success. Something that feels nice for a change.
People lost their lives, homes, and means of livelihood regardless of the Government efforts. Man is after all man and God is afterall God.
This Diwali we would like to remember all those who lost everything to Phailin.
